Black Friday Streaming Deals 2026: What Really Comes Back
Quick answer
The deepest streaming discounts land in Black Friday week, roughly Thanksgiving through Cyber Monday. In 2025 the headline was the Disney+ and Hulu with-ads bundle at $4.99 a month for 12 months (through Dec 1), plus $2.99 offers on Paramount+ and $2.99 Hulu add-on deals for HBO Max and Starz. Expect ad tiers, new-subscriber fine print, and auto-renewal at full price when the promo ends.
Streaming services run one real sale a year, the same week for everyone. Here's what the last two Novembers actually offered, which parts of the cycle repeat, and the one habit that decides whether a promo price stays cheap. The 2026 offers will land below as they publish.
What Black Friday streaming deals actually looked like last year
The 2025 window ran from about November 20 through Cyber Monday, December 1, with a few offers alive through December 2. Prices below are as observed in November 2025.
| Service | Deal | Window | Catches |
|---|---|---|---|
| Disney+ and Hulu bundle (both with ads) | $4.99/mo for 12 months (regular bundle price $12.99/mo; each service alone was $11.99/mo) | Through Dec 1, 2025 | Ad tiers only; auto-renews at the then-current bundle price after month 12 |
| Disney+, Hulu, and ESPN Unlimited bundle | $29.99/mo for 12 months | Through about Dec 1 or 2, 2025 | Auto-renews at full price, and the regular rate for this three-service tier was not published alongside the offer |
| Paramount+ (Essential or Premium with Showtime) | $2.99/mo for the first 2 months | BF window 2025 | New and returning subscribers; full price starts in month 3 |
| HBO Max, as a Hulu add-on | $2.99/mo extra for 12 months on a Hulu base plan | BF window 2025 | New and eligible existing Hulu subscribers |
| Starz, as a Hulu add-on | $2.99/mo extra for 12 months | BF window 2025 | Hulu subscribers only |
| Peacock, via Walmart+ | Walmart+ annual at $49 (regular $98), including Peacock Premium or Paramount+ Essential, switchable every 90 days | Through Dec 2, 2025 | A membership side door, not a standalone Peacock price cut |
| Netflix | No deal | n/a | No promo in 2024 or 2025 coverage; the $8.99/mo ads tier (as of August 2026) is the only cheaper route |
Worth knowing
Every deal above auto-renewed at the then-current full price when the promo ended. The $4.99/mo bundle becomes $12.99/mo in month 13 (its regular price as of August 2026), and if prices rise during your promo year, you renew at the new price, not the one you remember.
The story of 2025 was the bundle shift. On Black Friday 2024, the doorbuster was standalone Hulu With Ads at $0.99 a month for 12 months (regular price then: $9.99). That offer didn't return in 2025. Disney pushed the $4.99 bundle instead: about 79% off subscribing to the two services separately, but a bundle, not a $0.99 Hulu. No standalone Hulu doorbuster appeared in the 2025 coverage we could verify.
Elsewhere in 2024: Peacock ran $1.99 a month for 6 months plus a 75%-off first year at $19.99, Max With Ads ran $2.99 for 6 months, and Paramount+ with Showtime ran $2.99 for the first 2 months, the same play it repeated in 2025. Whether Peacock repeated a standalone offer in 2025 did not turn up in the 2025 coverage we could check; its clearest 2025 route was the Walmart+ bundle above.
The deal patterns that repeat
Two years is a short record, but the structure barely moved. The window is Thanksgiving week through Cyber Monday, ending December 1 or 2. The discounts apply to ad tiers. Promo terms run 2 to 12 months. Eligibility usually means new and returning subscribers, not current ones. And every offer auto-renews at full price when the term ends.
A few patterns sit outside November too:
- Annual plans are the evergreen discount. HBO Max prices its annuals about 16% below paying monthly, with the same math elsewhere as of September 2026: Paramount+ Essential is $89.99 a year versus $107.88 at monthly rates, Peacock Premium is $129.99 versus $155.88, and Apple TV+ is $119 a year versus $179.88 at its $14.99 monthly rate, a saving of $60.88. Crunchyroll has run a limited-time $66.99 Fan year, about $5.58 a month versus $9.99. One caution: annuals can jump harder than monthlies. Paramount+ raised its Essential annual from $59.99 to $89.99 in January 2026, up 50%, and Apple TV+ moved its year from $99 to $119 on August 28, 2026 alongside the monthly rise to $14.99.
- Some services discount year-round. Peacock kept running deals even while raising prices in August 2026, with a history of first-year offers of $19.99 to $24.99 around Black Friday and big summer sports moments.
- Live TV does intro pricing, not sales. YouTube TV gives new users $67.99 a month for the first 5 months of Base and $54.99 for the first year of Sports; Fubo discounts the first month by $10 to $25 (as of August 2026).
- Netflix doesn't discount. No promo appeared in either year's coverage. Don't wait for a Netflix sale; there isn't one.
The lock-in math
A 12-month promo is only cheap if you'd have paid for those months anyway. The 2025 bundle shows it: $4.99 a month made a year of Disney+ and Hulu with ads $59.88; at the regular $12.99, the same year is $155.88. Keep the bundle all 12 months regardless, and the deal was worth $96.00.
Rotating changes the answer. Subscribe only for the months you watch, and four months at $12.99 is $51.96, less than the promo year. At five months ($64.95) the deal wins: at these prices, the bundle beat rotating only if you'd realistically use it five or more months. Short promos flip the logic: Paramount+ at $2.99 for 2 months cost $5.98 total, and the whole mechanic is the month-3 renewal at $8.99 (Essential) or $13.99 (Premium), as of August 2026.
Redo this math with current numbers before you buy. At least nine services have raised US prices in 2026 as of late August, so last year's full prices are already stale; our streaming price-increase tracker keeps the current tiers in one table. None of this guarantees savings. It's arithmetic to rerun with your own viewing months.
Black Friday 2026: what to watch
2026 deal announcements land here as they publish, same table columns: service | deal | window | catches. Nothing here is a live offer yet.
Until the ads start, here's what the last two years support. These are patterns, not promises:
- Based on 2024 and 2025, expect the deep streaming service deals of 2026 to cluster in Thanksgiving week and end on Cyber Monday, on ad tiers, for new and returning subscribers.
- Based on 2025's shift, expect Disney to lead with a bundle price rather than a standalone Hulu doorbuster. The $0.99 era looks retired.
- Based on its 2024 offers and its deals-while-raising-prices habit through August 2026, expect Peacock to be worth checking for a first-year offer. Based on both years, don't wait on Netflix.
Set the un-renew reminder
The habit that makes a promo actually cheap: the day you buy, put the promo-end date on your calendar, set a few days early. A $4.99 deal you reassess in month 12 cost $59.88. Forgotten, it runs on at $12.99 a month for as long as you don't notice.
The renewal price can also be higher than the one you signed up at. Services honor an in-flight promo and apply increases at renewal; Peacock states this directly for its August 2026 increase. Your month-13 price is next year's price, whatever that turns out to be.
Deal week is a good moment for a quick subscription audit: the statement showing this year's deals also shows last year's leftovers, still billing.
ReNood keeps the promo-end date attached to the subscription itself: add the $4.99 bundle the day you buy it, and you'll get a reminder before month 13 bills at $12.99. It reads the details from a screenshot or forwarded receipt, no bank login needed.

When do streaming Black Friday deals start?
The deep offers cluster in Thanksgiving week and run through Cyber Monday. In 2025 that meant roughly November 20 through December 1, with a couple of offers alive on December 2. Based on the last two years, if a streaming service is going to discount at all, late November is when it happens.
Was the $0.99 Hulu Black Friday deal real?
Yes, in 2024. Hulu With Ads sold for $0.99 a month for 12 months on Black Friday 2024 (regular price then: $9.99). It didn't return in 2025; that year's headline was the Disney+ and Hulu with-ads bundle at $4.99 a month for 12 months, through December 1, 2025. Treat the $0.99 era as retired unless Disney revives it.
Do streaming deals come back every year?
The window comes back; the exact deals don't. Black Friday was the deepest discount week in both 2024 and 2025, with the same structure: ad tiers, terms of 2 to 12 months, new and returning subscribers, auto-renewal at full price. The specific offers shift, the way standalone $0.99 Hulu became a $4.99 bundle in 2025. Netflix sat out both years.
Do the deals auto-renew at full price?
Yes. Every 2025 offer in the coverage we reviewed renewed at the then-current full price when the promo term ended. Then-current matters: if a service raises prices during your promo, the increase waits for your renewal, then applies. Peacock says this directly about its August 2026 hike. Calendar the promo-end date the day you buy.
