New subscribers paid the new prices immediately; existing subscribers moved on their first billing date after March 4, 2026. Crunchyroll called it the first US Fan-tier increase since 2019 and added offline downloads (1 device) to the Fan tier in the same announcement.

Two smaller notes. The standard free trial is 7 days; the old 14-day Mega Fan trial no longer appears on current help or premium pages. And the Yearly tab is where the discount lives: the US premium page lists Fan at $99.99, Mega Fan at $139.99, and Ultimate Fan at $179.99 a year, roughly 16% under twelve monthly payments. Limited-time offers rotate under those list prices. The $66.99 Fan annual announced in February 2026 was one of them and is no longer what the page shows.

Step one: find out who bills you

Everything about canceling Crunchyroll depends on one fact. On the website, log in, pick your profile, click your profile icon, then "Settings," then "Membership Info" (crunchyroll.com/account/membership). That page names your biller, and the right cancellation path follows from it.

How do you cancel Crunchyroll on the website?

The retention screen, the pause question, and refunds

The screen before "No thanks, Finish Cancellation" is a retention offer; what it contains is not documented, so read it on its merits. If a discount appears and price was your reason for leaving, taking it is a legitimate way out of the cancel flow.

A pause exists for exactly one group: Google Play-billed subscribers, who get "Pause my Subscription" inside the Android app's cancel flow. For everyone else, Crunchyroll's help is plain that the best option is to cancel now and resubscribe later.
